What Does a great Cognos BI Developer do at Fiserv?

Fiserv is looking for a talented Data Architect to spearhead design, development, and implementation of a product for operational reporting for Fiserv clients as part of an agile team and handle data integration with different Fiserv products. Using product knowledge, subject matter expertise and technical skills, you will provide the highest level of service to design, develop, and maintain a business-critical product for Fiserv clients.

What you will do:

• Gather and analyze requirements from business partners.
• Develop and create reports using Cognos to support the internal ATM monitoring application.
• Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and meet the needs of the business.
• Maintain and update existing reports as needed.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address their reporting needs.
• Provide training and support to end-users on Cognos reporting tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Cognos reports.

What you will need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree required; relevant, equivalent work experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
• Development experience in Data Engineering work along with reporting in Cognos & Cognos API with data modelling using Cognos Framework Manager.
• Strong SQL skills with expertise in writing complex SQL queries.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve application issues.
• Experience working within an agile development team and interacting with multiple stakeholders.

What would be nice to have:

• Basic understanding of Snowflake database.
• Familiarity with Data Warehouse solutions/ Dimensional Modelling.
