Overview: 


This role is positioned within the Global Human Resources function at AtkinsRealis. The P&O analytics function is primarily responsible for driving organizational transformation using data. This role requires the incumbent to apply interdisciplinary skills and knowledge, including human resources, statistics, corporate finance, and social sciences, to solve business and people challenges. This role is pivotal in leveraging data for, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.


Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in HR analytics or a related field, and no more than 10 years of total experience.


Key Responsibilities:


Data Analysis:


This involves collecting, processing, and performing statistical analyses on large datasets. It requires proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL, Python, or R to uncover patterns, correlation, causation and trends.


Visualization and Storytelling: Creating visual representations of data using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib. This helps in making complex data more understandable and actionable.


Attention to Detail: Being meticulous and thorough in your work. It involves carefully checking data for accuracy, identifying errors, and ensuring that all aspects of a project are completed correctly. It’s crucial for maintaining high-quality standards and avoiding costly mistakes.


Communication Skills:


Effective communication requires clearly conveying information and ideas to different audiences. This includes writing reports, creating presentations, and verbally explaining complex data insights in a way that is easy to understand. Good communication skills also involve active listening and the ability to engage in meaningful discussions.


Problem-Solving:


This skill involves identifying issues, analysing potential solutions, and implementing the best course of action. It requires critical thinking, creativity, and the ability to approach problems methodically. Problem-solving is essential for overcoming challenges and driving continuous improvement.


Statistical Analysis: Applying statistical methods to collect, review, analyse, and draw conclusions from data. Requires knowledge of statistical software and techniques, such as regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and probability theory.


Qualifications:


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Administration/Management, Statistics, Economics, Corporate Finance, Social Sciences, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
  • Bonus: Knowledge of human process including organization diagnostic models, intervention strategy, compensation & benefits, culture, talent acquisitions, learning evaluation model, HR ROI models. Functional understanding of AI test cases for human resources.

Certifications:


  • Lean Six Sigma Green/Black belt – not mandatory
  • Power BI/Tableau – Not Mandatory
  • HR Systems (Workday, Service Now) – Not mandatory
  • HR Analytics – Not Mandatory
