SAP FICO Consultant

The SAP FICO Consultant will be part of highly motivated and passionate team within DXC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for SAP Application Management and work closely with the client at their premises to support day operations.

SAP FICO consultant, who has done at least two (2) full life cycle implementation on SAP ECC and extensive experience in application support of SAP FI and CO modules.  The candidate should have good and in-depth knowledge of FI function, troubleshoot, problem solver and possess analytics mind-set.

As trusted advisor, create, and maintain effective customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction. maintain knowledge of leading-edge technologies and industry/market domain knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Proactive Incident management and RCA in SAP FI & CO module
• Maintain documentation and work closely with customer on day operations and help to reduce FI backlog.
• Identify, interpret, validate, and document customer requirements and sign-off.
• Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyses, and solve issues and problems.
• Should take the complete responsibility of Incidents assigned and deliver solutions promptly.
• Work with SAP FICO Solution Architect / Lead very closely and deploy solutions suggested.

Job description (SAP FICO)

SAP Associate with 6+ years of experience in SAP Implementation and Support. The ideal candidate must have worked on at least 2 full implementation projects and 1 support project. Should be conversant with accounting standards and SAP processes.

• Understanding the business requirement of the organization
• Understanding with finance, Enterprise Structure, Global setting of organization level, Account payable and Account receivables, Automatic payment program, Banking reconciliation process, Vendor/customer master data, Asset accounting,
• Preparation of Blueprint for implementing the project.
• Implementation of the project.
• Validate the reports requirements.
• Validate any changes in customize.
• Provide training to end-user.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Complete understanding of FICO integration with logistics, procurement, inventory and production, General Controlling, Cost element Accounting, Cost center Accounting, Profit center, Accounting, Internal order
• Must be able to independently handle Key uses & Finance Manager, take requirements and independently provide SAP solution in terms of configuration, testing, UT & IT and support issues after go-live.
• Should be an expert in AP, AR and Asset Management
• Well versed with integration with third party software through PI/PO, BW, ALE11 etc.

The consultant should be well conversant with CO and have the following skills.

• Important organizational Elements Of CO
• Profitability Analysis (co-pa)
• Cost flow and revenue flow related to the profit center.
• ""Cost roll-up"" in product costing?
• ‘Allocation Price Variance '
• ‘summarization’ in CO
• ‘Plan Layout.’
• Product Cost Planning
• Result Analysis /Revenue recognition with different methods like percentage of completion
• Planning & budgeting for cost objects"

Change request management with respect to new business set up new company codes set up changed business process (Good to have). Requirements gathering and preparing FS. Coordinating with other modules – Following with customer meetings related to day-to-day issues for FI & CO. Handling of CR’S Like PF interest calculation, ISD distribution in HR modules. Repeat call analysis from FICO and preparing Possible automation cases in FI & CO

The candidate should be from accounting background with BCOM/MCOM/MBA Finance/ICWA/CA. Open to work on diverse technologies. This is a long-term position with full time deployment at client location. The candidate should have good Oral communication skills and handling of Customer interactions on day-to-day issues of FICO.
