This fixed-term role with a global remit plays a pivotal role in making this happen.You will achieve this by providing your People / workforce analytics expertise as part of a multi-disciplinary, cross functional team delivering a data mart that delivers core People metrics to enterprise-wide dashboards. Your customer-focused mindset will ensure the successful delivery against requirements and drive strong uptake and return on investment.About the teamYou’ll be a member of the People & Reward Insights team, which equips leaders and decision makers with trusted, actionable and impactful insights by leveraging technology, internal & external data, science and business knowledge through effective partnership. Our primary goal is to inform decision making on people strategy and measure outcomes to track progress against it. We contribute to continuous growth, efficiency and financial results through rigorous data governance, insightful analytics, and comprehensive reporting.What you’ll be doing:Draw on your analytics experience to provide subject matter expertise (SME) on People and workforce analytics to a cross-functional, multidisciplinary project team.Liaise with stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly defined and met.Lead on testing from an SME perspective, collaborating with analysts in your own team and in the business.Build understanding and awareness of the data mart amongst stakeholders throughout the business.Design and deliver guidance, standards and training on the data mart for users.Collaborate with the People data governance team to ensure that meta-data is accurately recorded, and that implementation adheres to our data strategy and policies throughout the project phases.Report on key indicators of performance to measure project progress and adoption, designing and refining measures through the phases of the project.About you:Robust experience analysing People (workforce) data.Experience using data warehouses/data marts for analysis and dashboarding through tools such as PowerBI.Good understanding of data modelling.The ideal candidate will have worked as part of a project team implementing a data mart or data warehouse, and/or will have a strong understanding of change management principles and experience working with a wide range of stakeholders.Knowledge of Workday Reporting, Snowflake/SQL and PowerBI essential.Knowledge and experience of ETL (Extract, transform and load) using at least one on the tools (Alteryx, Informatica, Matillion, or similar).Knowledge of data modelling tools desirable (SQLDBM, ERWIN, or similar).Able to lead through influence and comfortable working with diverse stakeholders in different functions.Innovative, takes initiative and ownership for ideas.Able to flex approach: moving at pace or slowing to reflect as needed.Resilient, able to deal with complexity in a people-centric business.Cultural awareness and sensitivity.Data led and technology savvy.LSEG is a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider.
