Role – Sr. Adv.
Field Application Engineer – Industrial Vertical (Security & Fire) - Mumbai
The Engineer would be responsible for carrying detailed
engineering (Pre-sales BOQ, Design etc.) for CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion
Detection, Fire Alarm, VESDA, PAVA, Gas Suppression Systems. The candidate
would be closely working with the HBT Industrial Sales team across India. While
maintaining the quality and timeliness of the deliveries, the role requires
contribution in establishing robust working methodologies on the technical
& non-technical grounds engaging & prospering customer relationships.

1) Experience In Honeywell Security System Products.
2) Knowledge Security & fire domain.
3) 8-10 Years overall experience in commissioning, Project management, Engineering & Design of Fire & Security
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate customer documentation, understand design basics and clarify design details with the customers and/or their subcontractors/consultants/end user.
Prepare and submit submittals, drawings, design documentation, compliances, approval certificates etc. as and when required.
Technical solution analysis and optimization proposing.
Participate in technical discussion/ initial site meetings.
Training ESDs / SI’s Sales / technical operation staff at their office / site.
Participate in sales presentations, trainings etc. as and when demanded by customers or sales staff.
Willingness to travel for pre-sales activities.
Required
Qualifications / Expectations:Bachelor’s degree in any related field (Electronics Engineering preferred).
Min 5-10 years of Project Experience with IBMS Security, Fire Alarm, VESDA, PAVA, GSS Systems.
Excellent communication skills with customers and team members + English language (basic communication) proficiency (Marathi & Hindi Language proficiency would be an added advantage).
Previous certifications from Honeywell or other manufacturers related to Security, fire alarm, PAVA & GSS are a plus.
Previous exposure/working experience of a site-based project and service management in construction environment.
Knowledge of Tools (Microsoft Office, CCTV Tools, VESDA Aspire, AutoCAD etc.).
Electrical installation experience (cabling, installation, connection, inspection of field devices)
Experience on Honeywell products; Security: Maxpro, DVM, ProWatch, Winpak, Fire: ESSER, Notifier, Morley, VESDA etc. is a plus.
Workload Distribution: Security : 70%, Fire & other LOB : 30%.

Must Have:Having hardware designing experience and Proficiency in Access control, CCTV, Fire Alarm, PAVA, GSS system design, Field devices selection (Detectors, sensors, relays etc..).
Basic level knowledge in AutoCAD, Microsoft Visio
Wide working knowledge of Excel, Word & PowerPoint is essential.
Good knowledge of Fire Alarm Codes and Standards like NFPA, EN54, VdS, NBC, UL, IS2189 etc.Additional Information
