Specialist - Release

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work with Project Managers across the organization to negotiate, plan, and manage all Release activities.
• Manage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality.
• Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews and conduct Release retrospectives after each release to ensure continuous process improvement.
• Work with Change Management on rollout plans pertaining to migrations and configurations
• Maintain the release schedule for all core services and ensure alignment across key partners and vendors.
• Maintains a release repository and manages key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

• Experience in Waterfall and Agile Development Methodology 
• Previous experience in end to end release management life cycle
• Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams towards task completion.
• Advanced knowledge of the SDLC.
• Experience in JIRA and Confluence.
