What does a successful PLSQL Developer at Fiserv do?A successful PLSQL Developer at Fiserv plays a crucial role in developing, managing, and optimizing databases to support various applications within our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, performance, and scalability while delivering exceptional solutions that align with our clients' needs. As part of our team, you will help shape the future of financial services by leveraging your expertise and passion for technology.

What you will do:

• Design, develop, and optimize PLSQL scripts, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Implement and maintain database schemas, tables, indexes, and views.
• Collaborate with application developers to integrate databases with applications.
• Analyze and resolve database performance issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to database processes and procedures.
• Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

What you will need to have:

• 5+ years of experience in developing and optimizing PLSQL scripts and stored procedures.
• 5+ years of experience working with Oracle databases.
• 5+ years of experience in database design, schema creation, and maintenance.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field, and/or equivalent military experience.
• 5+ years of experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting database issues.

• What would be great to have:

  
  
• 4+ years of experience in data modeling and database architecture.
• 5+ years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL Developer or similar tools.
• 5e+ years of experience in working with large-scale databases in a financial services environment.
• Certification in Oracle Database or related fields is a plus.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
