Let’s change the world. In this vital role You will help digitally transform Amgen's Source to Contract (S2C) capabilities being part of the S2C product team. As a Specialist IS Business Systems Analyst within our Technology team, this role will drive a high-reaching Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) program to evolve how Amgen handles contracts globally with our suppliers. Come join a team that is passionate about innovation and making life better with technology!Roles & Responsibilities:Collaborate with Product owner and System Architects to handle business analysis activities, ensuring alignment with business and product goalsUnderstand customer needs to shape business processes and product requirementsWork with Product Owners and Business SMEs to define scope and value for new developmentsPerform regular maintenance and updates to systems ensuring optimal performanceEnsure non-functional requirements are included and prioritized in the Product and Release BacklogsFacilitate the breakdown of Epics into Features and Sprint-Sized User Stories and participate in backlog reviews with the product teamClearly express features in User Stories/requirements so all team members and collaborators understand how they fit into the product backlogStay focused on software development to ensure it meets requirements, providing proactive feedback to collaboratorsExperience with SAFe Agile software development methodologyMaintain accurate documentation of configurations, processes, and changesCultivate a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvementWhat we expect of youWe are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The [vital attribute] professional we seek is a [type of person] with these qualifications.Basic Qualifications:Master’s degree and 4 to 6 years of Information Systems experience ORBachelor’s degree and 6 to 8 years of Information Systems experience ORDiploma and 10 to 12 years of Information Systems experienceMust-Have Skills :Must have experience with writing user requirements, Test scenarios and acceptance criteria in agile project management systems such as JIRAHands-on experience in configuring and integrating Contract Lifecycle Management systems (i.e. SirionLabs) and Ariba procurement toolsExcellent problem-solving skills and a passion for solving procurement and business challenges improving technologyGood communication skills and the ability to connect with senior leadership with confidence and clarity.Good-to-Have Skills:Experience in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA as well as other Source to contract tool experienceAble to communicate technical or complex subject matters in business termsExperience of DevOps, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery methodologyExperience with Jira Align is a plusProfessional CertificationsSAFe for Teams certification (preferred)Soft Skills:Excellent analytical and gap/fit assessment skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work optimally with global, teamsHigh degree of initiative and self-motivationAbility to manage multiple priorities optimallyTeam-oriented, with a focus on achieving team goalsStrong presentation and public speaking skillsShift Information:This position requires you to work a later shift and may be assigned a second or third shift schedule.
