Thus, as we enter the next phase, modernization of Sanofi is required as per the recent announcements on DRIVE, and in this respect, we are in the beginning stages of organizing the Go-to-Market Capabilities (GTMC) team at global level.
GTMC organization will help us to drive best-in-class capabilities across the board and bring value and excellence in our commercial operations. This move is a key part of the aimed modernization of Sanofi and will allow us to focus on our priorities across our products, market and pipeline through the reallocation of resources and realizing the efficiencies of removing silos that exist between our business units, avoiding the duplication and overlapping of resources, standardizing our processes and tools, operating with a One Sanofi approach to accelerate our key capabilities development, and fostering the entrepreneurial spirit by speeding up the decision making.
As part of GTMC, the vision of the LEX/MEX pillar is the establishment a new Sanofi wide Launch excellence cross functional framework, ensuring excellence in Medico Marketing fundamentals and upskilling the Medico Marketing teams with cutting edge new technologies, capabilities and ways of working. The Specialist – Internal Communication (Launch & Commercialization) with an upstream content focus will oversee and guide an offshore team dedicated to supporting the launch and commercialization of new products. This role emphasizes the strategic development and management of upstream content to ensure successful product launches and effective market entry. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align content strategies with business objectives, market demands, and customer needs.

Main responsibilities:
Support the planning, execution, and evaluation of internal communication initiatives related to Launch & Commercialization Excellence, ensuring that stakeholders/teams are engaged, informed, and prepared for relevant activities. Oversee the communication plan to ensure a seamless and integrated approach across all areas. Additionally, support the establishment of a connected communication ecosystem, driving increased effectiveness and improved efficiency.
- Support the Manager/team in executing internal communication plans.
- Draft internal memos, newsletters, and communication materials for pre-launch and launch, commercialization and academy streams of Launch & commercialization Excellence pillar.
- Assist specialist community management in organizing internal events or campaigns for pre-launch and launch, commercialization and academy streams.
- Collaborate with specialist community management to organize information in an accessible portal with the most up to date information with key deliverables, expected outcomes from Global vs Local teams and when, how to sign up for Academy
- Design one integrated calendar with stakeholders, calls to action and channels – help drive efficiency for right time, right message
- Manage platform content (playbook, ignite, Sanofi YOU etc.)
- Prepare for Workshops, provide logistic and operational support
- Collaborate with Analyst Commercialization Data for survey setup, coordination of survey feedback, collection & management
- Create channel templates for internal comms – assemble content to fit channels
- Brand & customer plan audits: Review and evaluate brand and customer plans (“What works well” analysis, EBI), compile learnings, and curate best practices
- Brand Planning: Track completion of studies vs plans; changes in costs vs PO
- Brand plan integration: Collect & organize data with initial findings and gap analysis, alignment with key business questions/knowledge gaps identified in global brand plans; create executive summary in same format (incremental learnings vs existing, key business implications)
- Customer and patient journey update and consolidation
- Support internal engagement initiatives to keep teams informed and motivated.
- Collaborate with the project team, the business units, digital, and the external vendors to ensure a smooth and successful implementation of communication ecosystems, channels, platforms, tools, and processes designed as part of continuous improvement methodology to create best in class go-to-market capabilities that are consistent across GBUs and markets.
- Support Hub strategy aligned with global business priorities, focusing on operations and enablement via continuous feedback loop to optimize customer experience.
- Support the delivery of better value and greater efficiency through the identification and elimination of unnecessary complexity within business processes and identification of better ways of working.
- Support communication initiatives from evolution/efficiency identification through to project delivery via internal governance and controls (leverage AI/automation).
- Process Optimization & Best Practices: Support evaluation of post implementation reviews for successful delivery and to ensure that improvements can be made for future projects.
- People: (1) Work with cross-functional teams (2) Maintain effective relationship with the stakeholders within the allocated GTMC pillar and cross-pillars – with an end objective to ensure adherence and effectiveness of communication management strategy/plans; (3) Constantly assist project team for communication/trainings on methods/processes/tools/platforms (4) Partner with Project Head/Lead/Manager for individual development plans; (5) Provide proactive recommendations on operational excellence and play an active role to follow the best practices in relation to processes, communications, training management, documentation and technical requirements
- Performance: (1) Support internal communication ecosystem; (2) Support on-time tracking of effectiveness KPIs and report publishing; (3) Effectively communicate with key communication partners and provide support to constantly improve quality and productivity; (4) Support communication execution as per agreed timelines and quality; (5) Recommend and implement tactical process improvements within the department and division-wide
- Process: (1) Support compliance monitoring and take actions as required to ensure 100% compliance; (2) Stay up to date on current industry trends and Launch & Commercialization Excellence; (3) Maintain understanding of continuous improvement techniques, and agile methodology; collate best practices, stakeholder feedback and benchmarks inputs for improvements; (4) Contribute to overall quality enhancement; (5) Secure adherence to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls; (6) Leverage advanced training delivery tools and techniques for enhancing the effectiveness of change management program
- Stakeholder: Work closely with Global, Local, and Hub teams to identify communication needs and drive the communication ecosystem supporting best-in-class pre-launch/launch activities
About you
- Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in product launch, commercialization and upstream content development, marketing or a related field; experience in content creation, optimization, operational excellence in medico-marketing/medical/commercial domain for the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry/digital platforms is preferred
- Experience of supporting upstream communication strategies for Launch & Commercialization initiatives is preferred

- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment (collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders from multiple business units), coordinating multiple projects simultaneously

- Technical skills:
- Experience in working for Marketing and/or Customer insights domain
- Analytical abilities
- Strong communication and content creation abilities
- Experience in strategic communication and project management abilities is preferred
- Familiarity with internal communication tools and platforms
- As applicable (including but not limited to therapeutic area/domain knowledge exposure – Proficient in multiple TAs/domains/GBUs)
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and commercialization automation tools
- Education: University degree level (Graduate degree, preferably in science). Additionally, relevant advanced/postgraduate degree in life sciences/pharmacy/marketing/Business Administration/Business Analytics/Communications or a similar discipline is preferred
- Languages: Excellent knowledge of English language (spoken and written)
