About the Role

We are looking for a person who has sound knowledge of Intercompany Reconciliation and Calculate intercompany sales and cost recharges between Group entities in line with intercompany transfer pricing agreements.

Role Responsibilities:

• Run SAP intercompany reports during month-end close (MEC) to identify the differences between balances with IC partners for all legal entities.
• Address discrepancies by recording any missing entries in the ledger or coordinating with colleagues to resolve differences in their respective legal entities and book accruals. Ensure this is completed by Workday 4/5 of the MEC.
• On Workday 6/7 of the MEC, provide feedback to the team on IC differences reported in the Group consolidation system, Hyperion.
• Ensure that all identified material intercompany transactions differences are corrected within Hyperion.
• Perform Intercompany reconciliation of all combinations & resolve any intercompany reconciling items within month-end reporting timelines.
• Create intercompany invoices to recharge costs / revenues between Group entities in line with intercompany transfer pricing agreements.
• Support Accounting, Tax and Analyst colleagues to understand the intercompany movements impacting statutory and management accounts.
• Work closely with colleagues in the Asset Accounting team to ensure all project capital costs are considered before finalizing intercompany recharges.
• Provide supporting evidence in response to audit questions relating to intercompany trading.

Essentials:

• Accounting degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience as an accountant.
• A good working knowledge of IFRS and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• ERP system experience is required; SAP is strongly preferred but not required.
• Experience working in finance shared services for a global company is highly desirable.
