You will be part of our Contract Logistics team, adding your procurement expertise + operational skills to the delivery of customer + operational excellence.
Your Role Your will be responsible for procurement of Capex + Opex requirement for new projects throughout the country following 5Rs ( Right Product, Right Quantity, Right Quality, Right Time and Right Price ). Your Responsibilities
To manage all Capex + Opex procurement for the new projects.
To support business development team while they work on submitting proposals to new clients.
To prepare purchase request ( PR ) , processing GRN, ensuring timely submission of supplier invoices according to company standards and process.
To deep dive into research and chalk out potential suppliers based on the requirement.
To ensure smooth onboarding of new suppliers ( Non Trade suppliers + Contingent Labour ) as per the company standards and process.
To foster long-term relationships with suppliers who provide the best offers during supply chain procurement.
To monitor + ensure compliance across all procurement activities.
To drive activities that enhance savings, reduce cost ratios by developing + implementing structured processes through leveraging, bulk sourcing + optimization.
Your Skills and Experiences
Minimum 5-7 years work experience in freight forwarding industry, with a focus on sourcing.
Experience in managing procurement for a mid to large sized organizations is preferred.
Experience in leading Capex + Opex Procurement projects from inception to completion.
Excellent negotiation skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with suppliers.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
