About the Role
The Solution Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable and resilient technology solutions that support our Industry Platform Technology. You will work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to develop an architectural framework that ensures best-in-class customer experiences while driving efficiency, security, and scalability.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Define and drive the technology strategy for digital commerce, aligning with business objectives and future growth plans.
- Architect and oversee the scalability of IT infrastructure, ensuring it supports rapid business expansion and increasing transaction volumes.
- Design and implement composable architecture strategies, leveraging modular and API-first approaches to maximize flexibility and innovation.
- Develop a cloud-native, high-availability eCommerce ecosystem that ensures optimal performance and uptime.
- Establish best practices for microservices, API management, and event-driven architectures to enable seamless integrations and system interoperability.
- Evaluate and recommend modern eCommerce frameworks, including MACH (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, and Headless) architectures.
- Ensure seamless integration between eCommerce, ERP, CRM, and marketing automation platforms, optimizing operational efficiency.
- Implement security best practices for data protection, identity management, and fraud prevention.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital commerce, continuously refining the architecture roadmap.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in software architecture and solution design, preferably in eCommerce and digital commerce platforms.
- Strong expertise in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and serverless architectures.
- Hands-on experience with headless commerce solutions (e.g., commerce tools, Shopify Plus, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud).
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture, API gateways, GraphQL, RESTful APIs, and event-driven architecture.
- Proven experience in scaling IT infrastructure to support high-volume, high-transaction digital commerce environments.
- Strong background in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Knowledge of data architecture, analytics, and AI-driven personalization.
- TOGAF certification or equivalent enterprise architecture framework experience is a must.
- Experience with security best practices, including OAuth, JWT, and identity management frameworks.
