About the team


The Wealth Technology Development comprises of Development, Testing and Architecture Teams who are responsible for developing and validating the integrated Wealth platform for front and middle-office professionals that overlays FIS’ trust accounting engines across multiple projects. The projects are fast moving, highly complex and will provide a challenge for all levels of resources. The team uses the latest best in class technology tools to accomplish our goals.

What you will be doing


As a Software Test Manager, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and upgrading test strategy, for the team to develop manual or automated test scripts, utilities, simulators, data sets and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plans.  You will be closely working with the UK Client and help them achieve their Quality goals. You will be responsible for keeping the FIS and Client stakeholders updated about the progress of the program and leading it to success. You will have direct interaction with the client, and their vendors to strategize and perform end to end testing in the client environment. You will identify the current bottlenecks and propose solutions to improve the end user experience.


  • Single point contact with complete ownership for the successful implementation of the testing program. Regular tracking and reporting of the progress of the program.
  • Build & implement quality strategies governing the quality practices & program scope by collaborating with different partners (Client, FIS & 3rd Party Vendors).
  • Coordination with business and client-facing teams to identify internal vs client-facing changes.
  • Release notes review/process for getting them in a clear format, robust communication, and engagement with stakeholders.
  • Quality governance with right leading and lagging measures. Provide solutions for the testing bottlenecks; suggest and implement improvements.
  • Leadership oversight for the Testing team.

What you bring:


  • 10 to 15 years of experience in Software Development/Testing and 3+ years’ experience in leading Testing Teams
  • Experience in Test Management, Test Strategy & Planning, defining Defect Management Process
  • Stakeholder Management, Team Management
  • Problem solving, Result-oriented and Leadership skills to drive the client projects
  • Experience in successfully leading Test Automation (Selenium) projects
  • Good communication skills with the ability to confidently talk to all levels of project and client management
  • Understanding of defined testing processes
  • Willingness to learn new systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong experience in BFSI functional testing domain and writing Test Cases from BRDs / FSDs
  • Knowledge of Investment Banking – Capital Markets and/or Wealth Management domains
  • Experience in Trading applications
  • Experience in Database testing
  • Experience in Web based application testing with complete architecture understanding
  • Unix experience
  • Agile methodology experience
  • Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards.

Additional skills you may have:


  • Knowledge of SWIFT, Corporate Actions
  • Knowledge of Jira, TestRail, Zephyr Scale
