Software Test Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Test Engineer/Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through rigorous testing and data analysis. You will work closely with development teams to identify, track, and resolve defects, as well as analyze data to gain insights into product performance and user behavior.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Planning and Execution:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to verify functionality, performance, and usability of our products.
  • Utilize various testing methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
• Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Generate insightful reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Utilize SQL and other data analysis tools to extract and manipulate data from various sources.
• Automation:
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium and Appium.
  • Execute automated tests on Android, iOS, and desktop platforms to ensure product quality and consistency.
  • Continuously improve automation frameworks and processes to increase efficiency and coverage.
• Collaboration:
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to understand product requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve product quality.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Programming skills in one or more languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#)
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis
• Experience with testing methodologies and best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve defects
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Eager to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Grafana, Tableau, Power BI)
• Experience with Git and GitLab
