Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automation Test Architect to join our dynamic team.
Testing Automation Architect is responsible for designing and implementing robust test automation frameworks and strategies to ensure high-quality software delivery.
This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, selecting appropriate tools, and leading the automation testing efforts to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the testing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Framework Design: Develop and maintain scalable and reusable test automation frameworks that align with project requirements and best practices.
- Tool Selection: Evaluate emerging QA tools and technologies, providing recommendations to improve the overall testing ecosystem.
- Test Strategy Development: Define comprehensive test strategies, including scope, objectives, and success criteria. Prioritize areas for automation based on risk assessment and business impact.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development teams, QA engineers, and product managers to integrate automated testing into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Test Case Development: Design and implement automated test cases for various types of testing, including integration, functional, and end-to-end tests. Design Performance and Security testing strategy.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure timely feedback on code quality and application performance.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyze test results and metrics to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement. Provide actionable insights to stakeholders regarding product quality.
- Mentorship: Lead and mentor junior QA engineers in best practices for test automation development and execution. Review code and make sure team follow best coding practices.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of automation frameworks, testing strategy and metrics.
Required Skills:
- Technical Proficiency:
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Extensive experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, Cucumber, RestAssured)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.
- Proficient in version control systems like Git and working with containerization technologies like Docker.
- Experienced with defect management and tracking tools, preferably Jira.
- AI Based Test automation tools
- Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strong analytical mindset. Ability to interpret complex data sets and make data-driven decisions.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Leadership Abilities: Proven leadership skills with experience in mentoring teams. Ability to drive collaboration across cross-functional teams.
You will have an advantage if you also have:
- Desirable to have knowledge of Cloud services like AWS.
- Awareness of AI and machine learning concepts.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in automation testing with a focus on the technologies listed above.
- 2+ years of working experience as architect
