Role and Responsibilities:
- Lead research and design for the introduction of new Juniper products.
- Oversee testing strategy and execution for network solutions.
- Independently understand customer solutions and develop comprehensive test cases.
- Manage customer escalations, POCs, and RFPs independently.
- Collaborate with customers and account teams to understand requirements and devise test strategies.
- Develop an automation framework to support customer use case testing.
- Review software functional specifications and unit tests.
- Develop test plans, test harnesses, and test cases.
- Conduct performance and scaling tests.
- Assist software developers in debugging issues and creating bug reports.
- Create scripting and white-box tools for organization-wide use to address daily challenges.
- Script and execute regression tests after software integration on integration branches.
- Write knowledge base articles to document common issues and their resolutions for organizational reference.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience with large automation test frameworks.
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Perl, Python, etc.
- Deep understanding of Cloud, Enterprise, and Service Provider networking architectures and technologies.
- Proficiency with Linux and related bash tools.
- Expertise in MPLS, TCP/IP fundamentals, and commonly used routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).
- Experience in configuring and setting up Juniper or Cisco routers is a plus.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Network certifications (or equivalent training/experience) are an added advantage.
- Knowledge of AI & ML is a plus!
