About the team 

The Capital Markets business at FIS is a $3bn high growth segment delivering leading edge solutions to the world’s biggest Investment Banks, Asset Managers & Hedge Funds, Private Capital, Lending, Insurance and Risk Management firms. Capital Markets has three lines of business to support customer demands and meet ever evolving market requirements. These three lines of business are Trading and Asset Services, Treasury & Risk and Lending.

Auto & Leasing are the rapid growing and innovative business unit within FIS, a Fortune 500 company. We deliver FIS Asset Finance solutions to big businesses around the globe. The FIS Asset Finance team is looking for AI/ML engineers to develop the next generation of product solutions and offering. 

What you will be doing 

• As a Senior Software Engineer Specialists (ML Engineer), you will be working on developing cutting-edge AI/ML solutions across the organization.
• Design, build, and optimize machine learning models for various applications, such as natural language processing, computer vision, predictive analytics, etc.
• Data preprocessing and feature engineering: Clean, preprocess, and transform raw data into usable features for model training.
• Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and fine-tune hyperparameters to achieve optimal results.

 What you bring

• 10+ years of industry experience
• Proficiency in Python.
• Good understanding of machine learning concepts around regression, classification, clustering, dimensionality reduction etc.
• Understanding of GenAI and its applications.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems using learned techniques and tools.
• Hands on with frameworks and libraries like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, pandas etc.
• Rest services using Flask or FastAPI
• SQLAlchemy, Pydantic data modelling
• Experience of working with at least one relational database.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and AI Studios.
• Experience with MLOps
• Solid software engineering skills (version control, testing, debugging).
• Hands-on experience in solving practical problems using GenAI

Added bonus if you have

• Experience in additional programming languages (Good to have Java or C# or both).
• Attention to detail – track record of authoring high quality documentation.
• Self-starter but team mindset - work autonomously and as part of a global team
