QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent area
- 4+ years of experience of backend web development, ideally using Python
- 4+ years of experience of frontend web development, ideally using React
- Advanced knowledge of HTTP, ReST, JSON
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Advanced knowledge of Git, CI/CD, Agile
- Experience with advanced SQL and advanced knowledge of any RDBMS - MySQL, SQLServer, Oracle, etc.
- Experience writing and executing all kinds of automated tests - unit tests, integration tests
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-a-Service and Platform-as-a-Service offerings from AWS, GCP or Azure
- Understanding of container based technologies (i.e., Docker, Kubernetes will be nice to have)
WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
You will be based in our Gurugram office in India as part of the Social, Healthcare and Public Entities (SHaPE) practice. You will collaborate with our SHaPE analytics teams in other technology hubs in the US, Europe, India, Costa Rica. You will also work with other local engineers, product managers, and delivery team leads.
Our SHaPE Tech organization leverages a big-data analytics platform that includes 100 terabytes of integrated claim, encounter, clinical, consumer and other data. The team consists of 100 dedicated experts and 250 affiliated professionals with industry, advanced analytics, statistics, clinical and software expertise, all of whom work to design, deliver and operate advanced analytic tools to help social, public and healthcare clients around the world.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
You will build, maintain, enhance, and deliver software products with high levels of value, usability, and quality to support our engagements and help our clients transform social, healthcare and public entities across the world.
In this role, you will work with product managers, delivery teams, and other engineers and be a key contributor in delivering incremental solutions in an Agile manner. You will help design, develop, test and maintain software solutions that are used within the SHaPE Tech portfolio of digital assets, including SaaS solutions and BOT-type deployments for clients. You will look for opportunities to continuously improve the solutions and help in the resolution of issues and defects that may occur within the environment. You will be an active contributor in improving the code quality and test automation of our products, leaning on current automation test frameworks and best practices.
You will contribute code and participate in code reviews as well as break down user stories into technical tasks and requirements. You will also identify, communicate and escalate risks when appropriate.
