About Coinbase and the team
At Coinbase, we believe in creating an open financial system for the world. The Institutional Credit Risk Platform (CRP) team is an integral part of Coinbase's mission, working to ensure financial risks across our products are effectively managed and mitigated. Our team develops data solutions, workflow tools, and reporting systems that help the Risk organization monitor and manage financial exposure across various Coinbase products, including Financing, Exchanges, and Futures.
Role Overview:
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building frameworks and solutions that enable the measurement and management of financial risks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop risk models, establish key risk metrics, and implement policies around counterparty and collateral management. Your work will ensure that Coinbase has the necessary tools to mitigate risks, maintain liquidity, and remain compliant with regulatory requirements.
