Role Overview
As a Junior Quality Assurance Engineer for our flagship product, Discover, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our front-end applications. Your work will involve both manual testing and automation using the Playwright framework. You will collaborate closely with the development team to create and execute test cases, identify and track bugs, and ensure that new features meet our high standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
Manual Testing: Perform thorough manual testing of the front-end applications to identify any issues or bugs.
Automation Testing: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using the Playwright framework to ensure consistent and efficient testing processes.
Test Case Creation: Create detailed test cases for new features in each sprint using Zephyr in Jira.
Environment Testing: Test features on lower environments to ensure they function correctly before deployment.
SI Certification: Provide System Integration (SI) certification for new features and updates.
Bug Tracking: Identify, document, and track bugs in Jira, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and high-quality deliverables.
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.
0-2 years of experience in software testing.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
