Software Engineer, DevOps
Iron Mountain’s (IRM) Enterprise Information Technology-Platforms is hiring an experienced Software Engineer, DevOps. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced organization that is responsible for implementing and maintaining our DevSecOps (DSO) Platform. Our team builds internal tools and products to support IRM’s Engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
Gather and analyze requirements from cross-functional teams
Develop CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement DevOps best practices
Provide technical guidance and explanations to team members
Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management
Write clean, maintainable code to support the DSO platform
Document infrastructure and deployment processes
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure and deployments
Contribute and write code for platform APIs
Key Skills, Requirements and Competencies:
Bachelor's degree preferred, with a concentration in one of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in a Software Engineering role (DevOps experience preferred)
Strong understanding of version control (Git)
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go)
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in an Agile environment
Experience with REST APIs and microservice architectures
Knowledge of a major Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, Azure)
Understanding of infrastructure monitoring and observability
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Nice to have: experience with Kubernetes, API Gateways (Apigee, Mulesoft), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab)
