Amazon Fire TV team is looking for an experienced, results-oriented Software development Engineers in Test(SDET) who is capable of designing and building automation frameworks that will improve time to market.
As a Software Development Test Engineer, you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive, design and develop innovative consumer products.
As a SDET, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of technologies from front-end UI (both web and device) to back-end distributed web services to device software. You will own the design and implementation of tests that will help in end-to-end quality of major deliverables.

About the team
FTVE-SDL team owns the Quarterly system release updates that goes to all existing FireTV edition devices across all regions that include NA, EU and IN. This team owns planning, execution, certification of these quarterly releases.Automation is mandatory to certify the exponential FireTV expansion. This teams owns creating the new test cases automation, Automation stabilisation, adoption and consumption. This team also owns certify FireTV remotes.
- 3+ years of test automation frameworks and tools building experience
- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development testing experience
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
- Experience in penetration testing and exploitability-focused vulnerability assessment
- Experience in platform-level security mitigations and hardening for Linux and Windows
- Knowledge of overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance in a database environment
- Experience with security in service-oriented architectures and web services
