By analysing vast amounts of data, RMS enables airlines to forecast demand, adjust pricing strategies in real-time, and respond to market changes swiftly. This not only boosts significantly revenue but also enhances customer satisfaction by offering competitive pricing.Revenue Management has greatly evolved during the past 20 years, from the early days of leg-based optimization to today's complex network Revenue Management and bid-price control. In addition, the shift of the industry towards NDC and the offer/order distribution models, is putting ahead yet another Offer optimization challenge and tremendous amount of new scientific complexity.

Dynamic Pricing is a young and promising product to optimize in real time the price returned during a shopping session, depending on the customer segmentation and the competition environment, with airlines eager to pilot and benefit from those extra revenues.

About the Position

We are seeking for a talented and passionate developer to join our Revenue Management solutions team. In this role, you will play a crucial role and leverage your expertise in researching new algorithms and developing the core engine of the Altea Revenue Management System that is relying on a mathematical parametric model (with the following modules: estimation, forecast, network and leg-based optimization). 

Key Accountabilities

• Analyze specifications, help to define user requirements for the development of new (or upgrade of existing) software solutions.

• Design and development.
  • Design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies.
  • Propose viable technical solutions
  • Develop software according to Amadeus standards.
  • Write high quality code, participate in code reviews, Designing/Architecting systems of varying complexity and scope, and creating high quality design documents supporting the Design tasks.
  • Contribution to any open-source development
• Research
  • Design new algorithms / models for the RMS product. Enhance the exiting model.
  • Industrialize and implement new prototypes (experienced by our research team).
  • Innovation and Patent filing.
• Test and support
  • Conduct unit, package and performance tests and ensure a level of quality in line with the Amadeus guidelines.
  • Participate in the validation phase of the product cycle, fine-tuning when necessary to finalize the product.
  • Support the customer, perform investigation about the model result and behavior.

Skills

• C++/Python
• Linux environment 
• Database : MongoDb/Oracle
• Data Analysis
• Mathematical background required: applied Mathematics knowledge, operational research, optimization models and algorithms.
• Knowledge on Cloud/Azure is a plus.
