Functional Overview:



The individual should have proven working experience in java development. Hands on experience in designing interactive applications, should have ability to document requirements and specifications. Should be able to perform Junit and mock testing. Familiarity with software development methodology and release processes.  The resource should have the ability to execute full lifecycle software development, and to integrate software components into a fully functional software system. Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures. Document and maintain software functionality. Tailor and deploy software tools, processes, and metrics. Comply with project plans and industry standards.


Roles and Responsibility:




  • Designs and develops applications as per the requirements.


  • Understands and supports the existing application.


  • Co-ordinates with Business/stakeholders for issue resolution


  • Follows good programming practices.






Skills/Knowledge:




  • 3-5 years hands-on experience in Java/J2EE programming and test-driven development


  • 3-5 years of experience on Core Java


  • 2-5 years of experience on Hibernate.


  • 2-5 years of experience on Spring framework (Spring Boot)


  • 1-2 years of experience on React JS (Optional)


  • 1 year of experience on Xml/Xslt/Xpath and Json


  • Knowledge of SQL


  • Experience on Webservices


  • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS would be an advantage.


  • Experience on Jenkins and other continuous integration tools


  • Good troubleshooting and communication skills


  • Experience in Design Patterns and Application layering


  • Must be willing to learn new technologies, keep on top of emerging trends in Java/J2EE web application development.
