Software Architect - Multimedia Infotainment Development (Android)

Responsibilities :

• Perform the Software Engineer ( SE ) activity on a identified requirement or specification adhering to Automotive standards.
• Drive cross-functional teams to define system architectures and interfaces, emphasizing scalability and maintainability.
• Define high-level design choices and technical standards to frame software.
• Plan software implementation and derive test plan.
• Perform software integration, validation and provide test reports.
• Perform coding, testing and code review.

Skillset required :

• Extensive experience (12+ years) in software architecture and design, focusing on multimedia solutions within the Android environment.
• Design and architect robust multimedia solutions within the Android ecosystem.
• Optimization of multimedia frameworks, ensuring compatibility and performance across different Android versions.
• Strong knowledge of Android Framework and architecture design principles.
• Experience in Analyzing , Debugging, Root Cause Identification solutions within the Android ecosystem
• Profound knowledge of Android internals, Android framework, and architecture design principles.
• Solid understanding of Android architecture, Binder IPC communication Android Build System, OOP , DESIGN PATTERNs, HAL or similar communication framework.
• Strong programming skills, including C++, Java and JNI,Binders, IPC mechanisms.
• Have good knowledge and understanding of Android development, debugging tools.
• Knowledge in design patterns, data structures ,Object Oriented Programming Concepts, Multi-threading.
• Good to have knowledge in creating detailed SW architecture, requirements, and design documents
• Good to have knowledge of UNIX, Linux.
• Knowledge on RUST programming is a plus
• Good understanding SE linux and android build system knowledge (bp, soong, etc.)
• Experience in Automotive Infotainment systems / working in SDV is plus.
• Experience working in Hypervisor environment is a plus.
• Experience in Agile methodologies and Scrum process for Project Development.
• Good team player and should follow agile development methodologies and ASPICE practice as part of SW development lifecycle.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and advancements in multimedia and Android to drive innovation and best practices.
