Job Description:


Operations Management:


  • Oversee daily operations of the facility, ensuring smooth functioning of all departments
  • Coordinate with various teams to maintain operational efficiency
  • Implement and monitor operational procedures and policies
  • Respond to and resolve operational issues promptly

Staff Management:


  • Supervise and lead a team of duty managers and staff
  • Schedule and assign tasks to team members
  • Provide training, mentoring, and performance evaluations
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet operational needs

Customer Service:


  • Maintain high standards of customer service across all departments
  • Handle escalated customer complaints and concerns
  • Implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and experience

Safety and Security:


  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Oversee security measures and emergency response procedures
  • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments
  • Lead emergency response efforts when necessary

Facility Maintenance:


  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure proper upkeep of the facility
  • Oversee preventive maintenance schedules
  • Manage vendor relationships for various facility services

Financial Management:


  • Monitor operational costs and implement cost-saving measures
  • Prepare and manage departmental budgets
  • Analyze financial reports and key performance indicators

Communication and Reporting:


  • Liaise with senior management, providing regular updates on operations
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on facility performance, incidents, and improvements
  • Maintain effective communication channels with all stakeholders

Continuous Improvement:


  • Identify areas for improvement in operations and implement solutions
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices
  • Propose and lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in facility management or similar role
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in facility management software and MS Office suite
  • Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and security regulations

This Senior Duty Manager role is crucial for maintaining efficient operations and ensuring customer satisfaction in large-scale facilities or properties. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of operational expertise, leadership skills, and a customer-centric approach.
