Position: Subject Matter Expert - Soft Service


Business: Property and Asset Management, Delhi/ NCR


What this job involves


Seasoned Soft Services Expert


Are you an experienced soft service expert, working closely with site teams with an objective to improve the soft services standards the sites assigned to you?


In this role you will be the one stop shop for all the queries related to soft services like housekeeping, pest control, facade cleaning, and horticulture. The site teams will reach out to you in case they need any assistance in resolving all critical client concerns related to Soft Services.

You’ll be working frequently with clients—that’s why you’ll need to build strong relationships with them. You’ll be expected to proactively make sure that the clients’ expectations are always met. You’ll also serve as the main point of contact for any site/property-related concerns.

Sound like you? Here is what we’re looking for someone who is:


Experienced Professional with Expert Knowledge


You need to have a Degree / Diploma in Bachelor in hotel management, with minimum 8 years’ experience in Property Management or other related fields. A SCEM certification, a working knowledge of occupational safety, and exposure to life sciences environment may also give you leverage in getting the job.  You must also have a solid background in contract management, budget supervision, customer service and stakeholder engagement.


Having an eye for detail


Do you have a proven track record in audit and budgeting? In this role, you will audit the site’s soft service procedures and processes. You’ll also keep a check that all vendors and suppliers ensure that they comply with the procurement processes and deliver quality work practices according to the contract and budget.


Good Communicator


You’ll spend a lot of time working with different kinds of people—that’s why strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.


Each day will comprise of the following activities:


  • Engage with diverse site teams to undertake detailed gap analysis, formulate actionable plans and help implement the same on ground
  • Gain critical feedback from various stakeholders on areas of improvement and provide timely updates to all stakeholders
  • Provide training on all aspects of soft services which include but not limited to visual, classroom and on the job trainings
  • Bring in best practices and synergies with other properties to finally bring in service level standardization across the region
  • Sustain and monitor efforts through frequent walk arounds with internal and external stakeholders
  • Attend review meetings such as MMRs and QBRs across accounts develop and implement procedures and performance measures to ensure simplification and accuracy of work methods and reliability of systems

Audit and ensure an adequate supply of materials and service for proper operation of the facility and enter into supply and service contracts as approved by the client


  • Audit and ensure the implementation and management of risk & safety work practices to reduce any interruption to client’s operations Effective team management to ensure smooth operations Develop and implement innovative programs and processes that reduce the utility costs, increase productivity and savings
  • Audit and ensure all safety procedures, including crisis management/ business continuity and emergency procedures are always maintained
