About the Team: 


Generally, the team is formed in Squad where each squad consists of Squad Lead, Business Analyst, Dev lead, Developers and Testers. This Squad structure provides more connectivity among team members and allows us to deliver faster as all resources work as one group on dedicated task.


About the Role:


As an SRE, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our systems and services. Experience with Windows and a basic understanding of Windows containers are also desirable for this role.

Responsibilities:


  • Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable container-based infrastructure using Docker and Kubernetes.


  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability for containerized applications.


  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to define best practices for containerization and deployment.


  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to container orchestration, networking, and storage.


  • Implement and maintain automated deployment, scaling, and monitoring solutions for containerized environments.


  • Ensure security best practices are followed, including vulnerability scanning, container hardening, and access controls.


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute disaster recovery procedures and backup strategies.


  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in containerization, orchestration, and cloud technologies.


Requirements:


Overall Work Experience: 5 Years


  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.


  • Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) or similar role, with a focus on containerization and orchestration.


  • Strong expertise in Containers and Container Orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.


  • Proficiency in Linux system administration and troubleshooting.


  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure, and related services.


  • Basic understanding of Windows containers and experience with Windows operating systems is a plus.


  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols relevant to containerized environments.


  • Experience with automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) is desirable.


  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse complex issues in distributed systems.


  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • 3+ experienced candidate


  • Relevant certifications in Containers, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms.


  • Experience with container monitoring and log management tools (e.g., Prometheus , grafana).


  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) pipelines.
