About the Team:
FIS Cloud SRE is looking to add an experienced, professional, and energetic SRE engineer to our growing team. Successful candidates will have a solid background in AWS EKS, OpenShift, along with CI/CD pipeline implementation and operations. Should support 99.99% SLA in a highly available, 24/7, public-facing Linux environment. Candidate should have strong sense of responsibility and ownership and can drive a complex problem to completion.
What you will be doing :
- Implement, run, improve, and document EKS and related AWS services.
- Advocate for and apply best design practices when it comes to availability, scalability, operational excellence, and efficiency
- Deploy and enhance components of our ecosystem such as Container Services, Load Balancers, Firewalls, and monitoring and alerting tools.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for AWS, EKS, Kubernetes deployment and operations
- Maintain ongoing improvement of processes and best practices to meet security, cost, and agility requirements
What you bring:
- 5 - 10 years of hands-on-experience in Cloud with Kubernetes EKS,Terraform ,Proven experience in a similar publicly facing support role managing high-availability applications/platforms
- In-depth experience in deploying AWS, EKS, or OpenShift
- Experience in utilizing scripting languages to automate build and deployment activities
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and strategies
- Ability to prioritize deliverables and manage workload to meet deadlines
Added bonus if you have
- Knowledge of FIS’ products and services
- Knowledge of financial services industry
- Knowledge of Terraform Enterprise (TFE) and associated technologies
- Knowledge of basic financial analysis principles and ratios
