What you will doLet’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will responsible for driving top performance of Site Operations at Amgen India. Reporting to the VP Site Head Amgen India, this position will work closely with all functions and units to drive the development and delivery of Site Strategy, and be responsible for facilities, security, and operational excellence activities for Amgen India
- Enable cohesive development of site strategy, site priorities and site initiatives, aligned to the enterprise deliverable of Amgen India: to be the digital transformations and operations core for the company.
- Manage site wide processes and provide executive guidance that help drive decisions by the senior leadership team.
- Focused on supporting business performance and strategic initiatives that are key to Amgen India’s future performance.
- Develops approaches to improve site productivity and efficiencies.
- Ensure Site Operations such as Facilities, Security have aligned strategy and priorities, and deliver to enable the site effectively.
- Implement comprehensive change strategies to transform the organization and enable it to adapt to business challenges as we evolve to be the site
- Develops solutions to complex business problems by leading in-depth analysis, coordination and negotiation with key decision makers.
- Serves as primary collaborator with executive sponsors and provides executive guidance to senior management.
- Conduct project scoping and chartering, define strategy and guide project completion.
- Drives organization and change management.
- Manages high volume of projects simultaneously while consistently delivering results.
- Drive the AIN strategy, goals and objectives processes.
- Lead and manage the business performance process, using technology to gain business insights
- Manage leaders engagements throughout the year, include Site Leadership Team meetings, Extended leadership team, various site forums, etc.
- Facilitate the design and execution of operations governance framework.
- Lead and manage all site visits with the site leadership team.
- Lead and generate insights on relevant business intelligence to inform site priorities/decisions.

Basic Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree and 5 years of Operational Excellence, Strategy or Consulting experience OR
- Master’s degree and 16 to 18 years of Operational Excellence, Strategy or Consulting experience OR
- Bachelor’s degree and 18+ years of Operational Excellence, Strategy or Consulting experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Engineering, Science or Business Management
- 15+ years of experience in the services / life sciences industry
- Excellent quantitative and qualitative skills including financial analysis
- Good intuition for business, high-level critical thinking and analytical skills
- Demonstrated understanding of commercialization, operations planning, strategic planning, commercial operations, and finance
- Ability to communicate and collaborate cross functionally
- Excellent conceptual problem solving/strategy skills with demonstrated ability to bring structure to vaguely defined problems
- Outstanding executive verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with a demonstrated ability to drive decisions
- Proven experience as a member and leader of an impactful team, leadership skills, organizational and project management experience
- Solid understanding of MS Excel and Power Point

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
