Your New Role – Site Installation Engineer (Electrical)
We don’t need superheroes, just super minds. The candidate shall be responsible for overseeing all technical, administrative, and commercial activities at the site. A dynamic and solution-oriented professional who can balance Siemens' technical solutions with customer expectations, driving project completion to the highest standards and on time.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all Technical, Administration, and Commercial activities at the site.
- Managing customer expectations and concluding the project to the satisfaction of the customer.
- Ensuring that customer specifications are fulfilled.
- Coordinating with clients, contractors, and vendors to resolve queries and clarify scopes during erection and commissioning activities.
- Coordinating with vendors to expedite the sequential supply of materials/spares in line with site requirements.
- Liaising with vendors and the design team for site requirements, reviewing engineering deliverables and vendor documents.
- Reviewing detailed engineering diagrams, datasheets, installation drawings, cable schedules, cable tray layouts, logic diagrams, and control room layouts.
- Verifying and certifying all electrical activities in bills.
- Inspecting and approving all electrical equipment and accessories.
- Making decisions on remodeling designs to suit site activities.
- Cross-verifying all equipment and accessories as per approvals and demands.
- Conducting quality checks on incoming materials, troubleshooting field instruments, supervising site activities, and inspecting electrical installation works and commissioning.
- Installing and commissioning field instruments such as transformers, substation panels, switches, pumps, motors, and lighting.
- Conducting cable and piping routing surveys and finalizing equipment and instrument locations.
- Providing location and other inputs for complete design engineering.
- Ensuring the implementation of Siemens Limited's EHS plans and policies for all project-related activities.
- Identifying hazards for all high-risk activities, assessing the risks, and defining control measures with site management.
