Site Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Site Engineer to oversee and supervise the development of solar power plants. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality control, project execution, and site safety while ensuring that all engineering, construction, and commissioning activities are performed efficiently and within the stipulated time frame.

• Supervise the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar power plant components, including PV modules, inverters, transformers, and other electrical equipment.
  
• Ensure adherence to technical designs, engineering drawings, and site layouts in compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality standards are met.
  
• Manage contractors, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure timely execution of work as per the project schedule.
  
• Perform electrical and civil inspections for solar power projects and provide timely reports.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices, implementing appropriate safety measures at the site.
  
• Liaise with project managers, design engineers, and stakeholders to resolve any technical or site-related issues.
  
• Prepare progress reports, site documentation, and daily logs to track the status of the project.
  
• Assist in the testing and commissioning of solar PV systems to ensure optimal performance.
  
• Troubleshoot technical problems and suggest improvements to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
  
• Ensure compliance with environmental guidelines and local regulatory requirements.
  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  
• Diploma holders with relevant experience in solar plant supervision may also be considered.
  
• 2 to 5 years of experience in site supervision for solar power plants or renewable energy projects.
  

• Technical expertise in solar PV systems, electrical installations, and civil work.
  
• Strong understanding of electrical wiring, power distribution, and grid connectivity.
  
• Knowledge of construction techniques, site safety, and environmental regulations.
  
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, and MS Office tools for documentation and reporting.
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot site issues effectively.
  
• Strong communication and leadership skills to coordinate with teams and contractors.
  
• Ability to work in remote locations and manage multiple site activities efficiently.
