We deliver our solutions in a highly competitive market answering FMCH needs and sometimes supporting regulated environments (GxP, SoX and other regional or local regulations).

Digital Tech encompasses following capabilities: Integration, Enterprise Architecture, Operations, Cloud engineering, Platform Engineering (e.g. DevOps & related framework), Enabling Platforms (ServiceNow, Observability, Chatbots, RPA, …), Digital Workplace and more “classical”infrastructures (hosting, network, servers, …).
Reporting to the Digital Workplace Lead, we are seeking a seasoned SharePoint Service Owner to take full responsibility for the delivery, management, and optimization of SharePoint service. This role will oversee the design, deployment, and ongoing management of SharePoint capabilities, focusing on standardization, self-service enablement, and alignment with business objectives. Additionally, this position includes the management of related tools like Viva Engage and emphasizes product ownership principles to ensure continuous value delivery.
Main responsibilities
SharePoint Service Ownership:
Define, deliver, and manage SharePoint as a service, ensuring reliability, scalability, and alignment with business needs.
Develop a comprehensive service strategy, including service levels, governance frameworks, and roadmaps.
Act as the primary point of contact for SharePoint-related inquiries, ensuring consistent communication and alignment with stakeholders.
Standardization and Self-Service Enablement:
Create and manage standardized SharePoint templates and site configurations to drive consistency and ease of use.
Implement self-service capabilities, enabling end-users to create and manage SharePoint sites within defined guidelines.
Develop clear documentation and training materials to empower users and promote self-sufficiency.
SharePoint Site Migrations and Lifecycle Management:
Help to plan and execute SharePoint migration projects, ensuring seamless transitions with minimal business disruption.
Maintain an inventory of SharePoint sites, managing their lifecycle from creation to decommissioning while ensuring compliance with governance standards.
Collaboration and Tool Integration:
Manage and promote adoption of Viva Engage as part of the collaboration toolkit, enhancing internal communication and engagement.
Align SharePoint and collaboration tools with other IT services to deliver an integrated digital workplace.
Product Ownership and Roadmap Development:
Develop and manage product roadmaps for SharePoint and related tools, prioritizing features and updates based on business needs.
Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to define requirements, provide feedback, and ensure successful service delivery.
Track and report on usage, adoption, and performance metrics, using insights to drive continuous improvement.
Service Automation and Reporting:
Automate repetitive tasks and workflows using tools like Power Automate and PowerShell to improve efficiency.
Create dashboards and reports (e.g., using Power BI) to provide actionable insights on SharePoint usage, adoption, and service performance.
Use data to identify trends and proactively address issues or opportunities.
Governance, Compliance, and Security:
Define and enforce governance policies for SharePoint to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
Manage permissions, access, and security configurations to safeguard company data and maintain operational integrity.
Perform regular audits to ensure adherence to governance frameworks.
Stakeholder Engagement and Support:
Build strong relationships with business units to understand their needs and ensure SharePoint services meet or exceed expectations.
Provide tiered support for SharePoint and Viva Engage issues, escalating to vendors or IT teams as necessary.
Deliver presentations, training sessions, and updates to stakeholders to drive awareness and adoption.
About you
Technical backgroundrequired.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, with various proven experiences in international context across global organizations.
Proven experience managing SharePoint services, including service delivery, governance, and lifecycle management.
Familiarity with ITIL or other service management frameworks is a plus.
In-depth knowledge of SharePoint Online, including site migrations, template creation, and permission management.
Hands-on experience with tools like Power Automate, Power BI, and PowerShell for automation and reporting.
Strong understanding of product ownership principles, including roadmap development, vendor interaction, and usage/adoption reporting.
Ability to align service offerings with business priorities and drive measurable outcomes.
Experience in generating and interpreting reports to analyze service performance and user engagement.
Experience with tools like Viva Engage to enhance internal communication and collaboration.
Ability to develop and enforce governance frameworks for SharePoint and related services.
Strong communication skills to present complex information in a business-friendly manner.
Experience in delivering training and creating user-friendly documentation.
Ability to lead initiatives, influence stakeholders, and stay up to date with evolving SharePoint capabilities and best practices.
Soft skills required.
Fluent in English.
Curious and open-minded, « out of the box » thinking with growth mindset, willing to stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in device management and automation.
Proven experience working& performing in global team, in a matrix organization, with strong capacity to manage activities across web meetings and collaborative solutions.
