Job Summary


A dynamic and experienced project management manager to join the operations team at RSM. The ideal candidate will oversee the planning and execution of a wide range of projects for the enterprise across all locations in India. Candidate should have relevant experience in planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring various operations projects at enterprise and locational levels.


Essential Duties


Project Management


  • Planning and Coordination: Develop detailed project plans, allocate resources, and coordinate tasks to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate with stakeholders, manage expectations, and ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure the project stays within scope, budget, and timeline.

Budget Management:


  • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Monitor expenditures and ensure projects are delivered within budget.
  • Prepare financial reports and provide regular updates to senior management.

Vendor Management:


  • Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Ensure all vendor contracts are in place and services are delivered as agreed.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews of vendors and address any issues promptly.

  Local cultural council engagement: in detail


  • Lead all local cultural council engagements in India, taking ownership to inspire and effectively engage our people. Ensure all events are seamlessly planned, organized and executed.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance engagement while standardizing practices across the firm
  • Conduct events based on project management discipline with regular milestone reviews.

Stakeholder Engagement:


  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand project objectives and requirements.
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to keep them informed of event progress.
  • Address any stakeholder concerns and ensure their needs are met.

Optimization


  • Actively explore opportunities and share ideas to continually improve project management processes, tools, and results by leveraging technology.

Minimum Qualifications


EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS


(MUST NOTE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED)


  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, events/hospitality, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE


(MUST NOTE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED)


  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in service operations/event management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS


(MUST NOTE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED)


  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities.
