Serves as a compliance risk analyst for Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM) responsible for analyzing and aggregating compliance risk for the franchise through the applicable analytical methods and models: establishes key measurement methods for the assessment of Compliance Risk within the Franchise, as well as Compliance related analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the design, development, delivery and maintenance of best-in-class Compliance, programs, policies and practices for ICRM
- Preparing, editing and maintaining Compliance program related materials
- Providing support on data analysis and participating in the delivery and execution of analysis for trending, and reporting of data elements for the purpose of driving greater insight within State of Compliance reporting, Compliance Assurance reviews, Business Monitoring, and other ICRM activities
- Supporting subject matter experts to identify and analyze data elements, report findings or conclusions for compliance risk models.
- Participating in the delivery and execution of data analysis for risk assessments.
- Mining and cleaning data from various sources; identify trends and correlations; analyze and interpret results.
- Representation of governance data in decks/presentations.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:
- 5-6 years of experience in Compliance testing/Assurance/Risk management/Trade Finance and Operations along with Data Analytics
- Knowledge and experience of Compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks assessments testing and assurance.
- Proficient is data analysis techniques and data representation tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be a self-starter, flexible, innovative and adaptive
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organization
- Strong project management and organizational skills and capability to handle multiple projects at one time
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree; experience in compliance, legal or other control-related function in the financial services firm, regulatory organization, or legal/consulting firm, or a combination thereof; experience in area of focus; Advanced degree a plus
