Position Summary:
Illumina is seeking a highly motivated and team-oriented Sr. ServiceNow QA Analyst to ensure quality and functionality of the ServiceNow platform. In this role, you will be a key member of an Agile development team. You will leverage your deep understanding of QA principles to design, execute, and maintain a comprehensive testing strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand new features, functionalities, and requirements to build comprehensive test plans.
- Develop and document test cases, test strategies, identify test areas for automation and other test artifacts.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to create User Acceptance Test (UAT) scripts and facilitate their execution.
- Build and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
- Analyze test results, identify defects and work with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Stay up to date on latest ServiceNow features especially around testing.
- Provide testing estimate and time estimates as part of Sprint Planning.
- Create test process and procedure documentation.
- At least 5 years minimum working as a QA analyst with 2 or more years of domain experience in the ServiceNow platform.
- Demonstrated experience writing test plans, test cases and test strategies.
- Experience performing both manual and automated testing with preference given to using tools such as ServiceNow ATF framework.
- Ability to represent test plans and test coverage using enterprise tools such as Visio, Lucid Chart, Teams, Confluence, Jira and others
- Experience working in an Agile development environment with Product Owners and Developers
- Experience working in a regulated environment within a global company (preferred)
- Working knowledge of ITIL processes or certification (preferred)
Education:
5-8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Business, or related field preferred
