The ServiceNow Developer-II performs complex design, implementation, and maintenance of multi product modules/sub-systems to ensure that business needs are met. Assists in outlining new product/service business case justification to ensure that proposed solution is capable of delivering articulated business benefits to clients. This position participates in product design meetings with management, other developers and cross-functional technical teams to ensure that product development adheres to client specifications and is consistent across various units. May select technology vendors to meet business needs. Participates in determining standards and best practices within area of product expertise.
Key Job Responsibilities
Develop Custom Applications and OOB Solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
Perform all aspects of platform administration and maintenance.
Troubleshoot and support production and test issues; perform root cause analysis, recommend corrective action.
Identify opportunities and make recommendation for process improvements to ITSM.
Platform Upgrades and ATF testing and validation. Coordinate with ServiceNow support and any on new releases and platform upgrades as necessary to stay compatible and current.
Collaborate with other developers, analysts and stakeholders for requirements to design and implement solutions.
Analyse requirements and accurately estimate effort of work to design, create and implement solutions and build “Proof-Of-Concept” solutions using Agile Methodologies.
Communicate with stakeholders on development efforts.
Hybrid Schedule: 3 days remote / 2 days in office.
30-day notification period preferred
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related area of study
2+ years professional experience in ServiceNow Information Technology
ServiceNow Certified Administrator.
ITIL certification and System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes including customer requirement analysis and system design
AngularJS, JavaScript, Web services (JAX-WS, JAX-RS, SOAP, and REST), JMS, JSON, Bootstrap, internet protocols (http, https, ftp, etc.), SQL database/JDBC integrations
Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills
Excellent written and communication skills
