Team
We represent Platform Engineering Services team within our Digital Technology (DT) Platform Services group of talented and energetic individuals. The team works closely with application developers, product owners and stakeholders to maintain the health of critical ServiceNow platforms and related systems.
Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated ServiceNow Engineer to join our growing DT Platform Engineering Services team. The candidate will have experience in ServiceNow platform development, configuration and integration. You will work closely with the team to develop, implement and maintain ServiceNow solutions that align with the business objectives and priorities while maintaining a high level of service, collaboration and promoting continuous improvement.

Automation and Platform administration activities are top priorities for our team. You should be able to adapt and take on responsibilities in any area based on defined priorities.
· Take the lead in identifying and developing automated solutions for repetitive tasks that the support team handles daily.
· Skilled in addressing health scans, vulnerability management, building platform automation scripts using GENAI / ML capabilities, manage workflows and data transformations.
· Ability to develop custom applications from the ground up or configure out-of-the-box solutions as required.
· Analyze complex data and deliver advanced solutions for technical issues escalated from level 1 support while documenting configurations and troubleshooting processes.
· Collaborate with colleagues across teams to support delivery of related tasks successfully.
· Note: Off Hours Support - during business critical, go-live and escalation/outage issue
To be successful in this role you have:
2 – 4+ years of IT industry experience with a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
Must have knowledge on ServiceNow modules including Incident / Case /Problem/Request/Change Management.
Proficient in development of workflows, custom web services, custom notifications, custom apps, business rules, UI pages, UI actions, UI policies, ACLs and catalog items.
Good to have SN- Now Assist – Gen AI knowledge to design and build automated solutions that reduces the team's repetitive efforts.
Good understanding and work experience in Web services, SOAP APIs etc.
Experience with scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, Perl, Unix/Windows Shell)
Good to have knowledge on ServiceNow data model and relationships
Relational database expertise in relation to an enterprise software system (Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL)
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Confident and able to multi-task and manage expectations in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
