TheServiceNow Application SpecialistRole
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented ServiceNow Application Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of the ServiceNow platform. This role requires a deep understanding of ServiceNow best practices, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to ensure the platform supports business needs effectively.

- Platform Administration:
- Manage the daily operations and administration of the ServiceNow platform, including user management, workflows, roles, and permissions.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure platform stability and uptime.
- Customization and Configuration:
- Develop, configure, and maintain custom modules, forms, and workflows based on business requirements.
- Implement ServiceNow upgrades, patches, and system enhancements while ensuring minimal disruption to end-users.
- Optimize platform functionalities through scripting (e.g., JavaScript, Glide API) and automation.
- Integration and Reporting:
- Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise tools and third-party applications.
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- User Support and Training:
- Provide technical support to end-users and resolve ServiceNow-related issues promptly.
- Conduct training sessions and create documentation to empower users and enhance adoption.
- Governance and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with ITSM best practices and corporate policies.
- Maintain proper documentation of processes, configurations, and workflows.
- Ensure compliance with subscription usage.
Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:
- You will be the front technical person for the IT Service Management team.
- Building relationships with our internal customers, gaining deep understanding of processes across the organization.
- You will be in the perfect position to understand business needs and form improvement ideas.
- Ensuring the ServiceNow platform, integrations and dependencies run smoothly, you will be first to spot potential inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization, in either process or technology.
- Have a key role in projects and rollout of new platform features, as you will be constantly expanding your knowledge in support of being a subject matter expert on different topics.
We’re looking for a teammate with:
- Language:
- Business level English, spoken and written
English is our corporate language for daily communication with all global teams.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Administrator or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration, and Asset Management.
- Experience with ServiceNow ITOM, PPM/SPM, CMDB is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in ServiceNow administration, including instance upgrades, ACLs, and MID Server management.
- Strong scripting skills (JavaScript, Glide, AngularJS, or Jelly).
- Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and integration tools.
- Certifications (preferred):
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ITIL Foundation Certification or higher.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
