You’ll be designing, troubleshooting, documenting and maintaining citrix environments to shape the way the world moves. You’ll be joining one of the world’s top 10 software to power better journeys.
Your main responsibilities
Build, maintain and support Citrix based platforms according to internal and external customer requirements and relevant operational principles with the focus on operability, stability, high availability, performance, scalability and compliancy.
Provide third level support of Citrix based platforms for investigation, troubleshooting and resolution of incidents and problems and participates in a corresponding 24/7 oncall loop
Evaluate and integrate new technologies and components into our existing system with focus on operability, stability, high availability, performance, scalability and compliancy.
Provide documentation and guidance to 1st and 2nd level support
Provide technological and operational consultancy to other stakeholders
Contribute to the improvement of the team’s value proposition around stability agility, cost and security.
Implement, maintain and support automation of the platform
Know How / Skills
Strong experience with production level Application management
Strong and proven experience with Citrix platforms
Good grasp of automation tools
Strong focus on business outcomes
Strong proven analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to use and adapt a variety of open source technologies and tools (Puppet, Ansible, IAAS, PAAS, Jenkins, Docker, Terraform)
Knowledge and experience in coding and scripting (e.g. Powershell, , python)
Experience with systems, data stores and IT operations
Experience in R&D or Global operations organization
Experience with Windows based platforms
Experience with Linux based platforms (optional)
Experience with Netscalers (optional)
Understanding of basic network concepts (e.g. communication, 7-layer OSI, routing, firewalls, TCP/UDP, TCP handshake)
Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders
About the ideal candidate
University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
Strong work experience on Citrix platform administration
Experience on automation (Powershell, Python,Jenkin, etc)
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
