Job Description

This role is responsible for supporting and managing the UK&I Service Portfolio, which defines and maintains a controlled list of all current, future, and retired Products and Services, both customer-facing and internal.


Key Responsibilities/Activities


  • Supporting the development, amendment or retirement of services and products in line with relevant inputs – e.g., from Service Strategy, Demand Management, Product Management or based on customer insights from Experian or external research   
  • Supporting the defining, producing, and maintaining of a Service Portfolio that will detail technical and business services (products) integrated with the Configuration Management Database to provide a view of their underlying technology 
  • Responsibility for ensuring the Service Portfolio is the single source of truth for the Products, Solutions and Services provided to UK&I customers and Experian staff across all UK&I business units (including Experian internal technical services) 
  • Shaping and leading portfolio initiatives on data quality and other tool enhancements working in collaboration with wider senior stakeholders
  • Ensuring Service Portfolio related issues are identified, investigated, and resolved   
  • Working with peer group and senior managers to ensure Service Portfolio Management principles are applied and enforced across all key interfacing functions 
  • Create, read, update, edit and delete portfolio records of all types, including portfolios, taxonomy levels and nodes, services, service offerings, relationships, and performance criteria for the entire business
  • Be comfortable working with large data sources and understand PowerBI and how to utilise it effectively.
  • Has a broad understanding of the Common Service Data Model in ServiceNow

Qualifications
  • Experience in roles within Service Management
  • Experience of maintaining high data quality and the benefits that brings
  • Experience of working across multiple teams
  • Experience of supporting transformational change.
  • Experience of working within an ITIL Framework.
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills with the ability to communication with technical and non-technical teams and all band levels
  • Ability to influence at a peer level
