We are currently looking for an SEO Manager to join our fast-growing Marketing team at our office in Bangalore, India. As we are an international brand working with different time zones, we require the potential candidate to be flexible to work in shift patterns.


The Role: 


The SEO Manager will be responsible for driving organic search traffic growth by developing and executing SEO initiatives across technical, content, and backlinking to support traffic and revenue objectives. As part of this role, you will manage the day-to-day execution of SEO tasks alongside an external SEO agency as well as Marketing & Product colleagues in the business. This role is global and will cover SEO across all 13 of Laundryheap’s territories.


This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to communicate the value of SEO and report on its effectiveness as well as aligning resources against marketing & commercial priorities. It involves hands-on coordination with the development team to ensure technical SEO needs are clearly defined, documented, and tested.


Your role will include, but shall not be limited to, the following:


  • SEO Planning: Work with CMO & agency to develop and implement a robust SEO growth strategy.
  • Day-to-day SEO Execution: Ensure tasks are completed efficiently and with clear ownership across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Agency Collaboration: Support the relationship management with the external SEO agency, ensuring they deliver on agreed-upon goals and KPIs. Provide clear briefs, oversee progress, and critically evaluate outputs to ensure quality and impact.
  • Content Optimisation: Optimize website and blog content for search, ensuring alignment with keyword strategies and user intent.
  • Backlinking: Plan and execute link-building strategies to improve domain authority and off-page SEO, leveraging relationships with external partners and publishers.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze SEO performance metrics and report on progress with actionable insights.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct ongoing analysis of competitors and the wider market to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge in search rankings.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with technical, product, and other members of the marketing team to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across all digital assets, including preparing technical specifications and testing changes to confirm they meet requirements.
  • SEO Advocacy: Act as the company’s SEO expert, educating stakeholders on organic search principles and advocating for initiatives that drive long-term value.

Requirements:


  • At least 5 years of experience in SEO, with a strong track record of driving organic growth and ideally with knowledge and experience of managing the channel across multiple domains and territories.
  • Broad expertise across on-page, off-page & technical SEO.
  • Solid understanding of content SEO, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and content gap analysis.
  • Native-level English and facility for writing SEO-friendly content.
  • Experience in planning and executing effective link-building campaigns.
  • Proven ability to manage and collaborate with external SEO agencies, including briefing, prioritization setting, and performance evaluation.
  • Proficiency with a range of SEO tracking or auditing tools & reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
  • Commercially minded, with strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into actionable plans.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with experience collaborating across teams.

Work Schedule and Patterns:


  • 9-hour shift (8 working hours + 1 hour break)
  • 5 days a week:  2 week off rotational 
  • Office-based role

  • Bengaluru-based immediate joiners are preferred.
  • Designation may vary based on organizational structure.
