As a Senior UI/UX Designer for our panel products, you will be a key driver in crafting intuitive and engaging user experiences. Collaborating closely with the Product Manager and engineering team, you will translate product vision and business requirements into elegant and effective design solutions for our panel-facing components. This role demands a passion for understanding user needs, a strong visual sense, and the ability to champion user-centered design throughout the product development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
Champion the user, conducting research, testing, and gathering feedback.
Translate needs into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups. Create innovative designs, iterating based on analytics, research, and trends.
Partner with stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and integration. Communicate rationale, negotiate priorities, and iterate.
Maintain our design system
Facilitate ideation sessions
Track design solution metrics
Skills:
Deep understanding of user research methodologies, information architecture, interaction design, and usability principles.
Strong visual design skills, including typography, color theory, layout, and iconography, with an eye for creating aesthetically pleasing and engaging interfaces.
Proficiency in creating wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups to effectively communicate design concepts and test user flows.
Expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Miro, and Google Suite (Slides, Sheets, etc.).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to analyze complex problems, identify user needs, and develop creative solutions.
Comfort working in an agile environment, embracing feedback, and iterating on designs based on user testing and stakeholder input.
Familiarity with front-end development technologies (React) and an understanding of how design decisions impact implementation
Strong focus on component reusability and scalability.
Salesforce UX familiarity and design paradigms including user journey mapping
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of proven experience as a UI/UX Designer; experience with web-based Enterprise applications or internal tools is a plus.
A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and demonstrating a user-centered approach.
Experience working in an agile development environment.
