Job Overview:
As a Senior UAT Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for the AEM implementation project. Collaborating closely with business stakeholders, developers, and QA teams, you will ensure the platform aligns with business goals, satisfies user needs, and delivers a seamless experience. Your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to advocate for end-users will be critical to the project’s success.
Key Responsibilities:
UAT Planning:
Develop and maintain comprehensive UAT test plans, strategies, and schedules for the AEM implementation.
Identify critical business workflows and scenarios for testing, ensuring full coverage of business requirements.
Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to gather UAT requirements.
Test Execution:
Conduct end-to-end UAT to validate AEM components, templates, workflows, and integrations.
Facilitate testing sessions with business stakeholders and end-users, ensuring their feedback is captured and documented.
Execute manual test cases and document results, ensuring they align with business expectations.
Defect Management:
Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
Work with development teams to prioritize, resolve, and retest issues.
Provide detailed documentation and reporting of test results, including defect trends and insights.
Collaboration and Communication:
Act as a liaison between business users and the development team, ensuring clear communication of requirements and test results.
Provide training and guidance to business users participating in UAT.
Participate in project meetings to report UAT progress, risks, and issues.
Quality Advocacy:
Ensure the AEM platform delivers a user-centric experience that meets business goals.
Identify opportunities to improve test processes, documentation, and quality assurance practices.
Advocate for the end-user perspective throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:
Experience and Skills:
5+ years of experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) or related QA roles.
Proven experience working on AEM or similar CMS implementations.
Strong understanding of AEM workflows, templates, components, and integrations.
Ability to design and execute detailed test plans, cases, and scripts based on business requirements.
Proficiency with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, or similar).
Business Knowledge:
Familiarity with business processes, particularly content management workflows and user experience validation.
Strong analytical skills to interpret business requirements and translate them into test cases.
Technical Knowledge:
Basic understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (preferred but not required).
Experience testing API integrations and troubleshooting basic web application issues.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Experience with performance and accessibility testing tools.
Understanding of cloud-based AEM implementations (Adobe Experience Cloud).
Previous experience with personalization and analytics tools integrated into AEM.
