Position Summary:
This Senior Training Specialist will be part of the AMEA Commercial Training and Development team responsible for Commercial training across the AMEA region. The individual is responsible for identifying, planning, developing, localizing and executing training programs and activities, focusing primarily on enablement and professional skills development for AMEA commercial and Illumina channel partners/dealers.
This role will report to the Associate Director of the AMEA Commercial Training and Development team.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct training needs analysis for AMEA Commercial team and Channel Partners.
- Plan, develop, and execute enablement and professional development training programs and initiatives through close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders and in alignment with the overall AMEA training strategy.
- Consult and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, review, and customize training materials to improve product positioning, value proposition and sales-related enablement training for sales and dealers/channel partners.
- Design, build and execute channel partner enablement learning journey for dealers/channel partners in AMEA region
- Facilitate instructor-led and virtual training as well as voice-overs for recorded training in our Learning Management System as required
- Serve as lead instructor for new or existing product training, professional development and leadership program and conduct train-the-trainer sessions to certify other instructors within AMEA
- Evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvement measures as appropriate based on findings/ feedback from stakeholders and performance metrics.
- Assess audience understanding of content and intent and adjust training approaches and techniques as required to improve comprehension and proficiency of the subject matter by the audience.
- Continuously update course materials to keep pace with rapidly evolving technology, products and market trends.
- Drive and consolidate content experts committee for learning modules.
- Author, review, and edit technical documents and presentations.

Requirements:
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Able to communicate effectively in English.
- Strong organization skills, including the ability to rapidly balance priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively in a highly matrixed organization and dynamic and fast pace culture is a must.
- Ability to engage stakeholders ranging from senior to junior levels effectively is essential.

Experience/Education:
- Minimum 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences or with equivalent work experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in sales or marketing roles
- Prior experience in biotech/pharma industry preferred
- Experience training commercial selling team will be a bonus
- Experience in adult learning, instructional systems design, facilitation, and training evaluation experience will be an advantage
- Experience working with/within a channel partner will be advantageous
