JOB TITLE: Senior Modular Engineer 
REPORTS TO: Chief Technical Professional Leader 
JOB LOCATION: Gurgaon, India 

POSITION SUMMARY: 
The Modular Manager shall work with Business, Project, and Engineering Discipline Leaders with modularization input into design, schedule and estimating, engineering, procurement, construction, testing, transportation, erection, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of Modularized Process Plants. 

POSITION DESCRIPTION: 

• Manage Interface with various disciplines and provide modularization inputs from BED/FEED stage to develop Modular Technical solution. 
• Develop technical scope, modularization philosophy, develop Engineering Budget, manage engineering execution, align with Client requirements /expectations. 
• Manage all engineering and construction interfaces during Modular Project Execution including engineering interface with Module Yard, Engineering Subcontractor, Vendors etc. 
• Drive Engineering & Module schedule based on “Right to Left” delivery model while ensuring all engineering interfaces and inputs are captured at right time. 
• Conduct Value Engineering Workshop (VE), Constructability Review Workshop (CR) and other studies as needed for efficient modular project engineering.
• Support conducting of module logistics studies with aid of Logistics group to determine weight and size limitations that may be imposed by load-out, sea transport, offloading and installation of modules. 
• Efficient management of Design & Engineering Changes during project execution. 
• Drive 3D model reviews, support HAZOP/HAZID workshops 
• Work with Planning to produce module schedule inputs to ensure release of design packages to ensure an efficient smoothly resourced build. 
• Develop work processes/tools for smooth and efficient engineering execution. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

• Graduate/Post Graduate Mechanical/Chemical engineer with around 8 to 15 years with at least 8 years in leading multidiscipline engineering team and or Engineering Manager role of Oil & Gas EPC or Modular Projects 
• Fully conversant with Project Engineering Management Systems with knowledge of site or Modular Yard engineering/ Construction/Commissioning practices and procedures 
• Be familiar with key module fabrication contractors to assist in development of module fabrication strategies; undertake prequalification surveys and develop module fabrication strategies; be familiar with and manage module fabrication bid processes; manage module fabrication campaigns. 
• Good communication skills (Written & Spoken English) are essential as the role requires interaction with both internal and external stakeholders. 
• Demonstrate excellent teamwork skills, being able to work with the various sub-teams to resolve issues and reach decisions that are in the best interests of the integrated project team. 
• Demonstrated strong knowledge of industry standards and design criteria within the engineering industry. 
• Strong knowledge of HSE procedures and practices 
• Have a broad technical knowledge combined with excellent leadership skills. 
• Must be ready to travel based on Project needs (within India and abroad)
