Our engineers focus on collaborating to develop experimental solutions that leverage exciting new technologies.
You will be working alongside dynamic team software engineers who not only write code, but also conduct research, design, and develop third party solutions for integration. You will test, recommend, and evaluate the technical feasibility of systems, platforms, and innovative solutions. Innovative technology combined with great methodologies is the ethos of our team. We are champions of responsible innovation, a key objective for our company.
Responsibilities
- Enable the team’s mission of ais to ensure the future relevance of Swift by creating new solutions to key trends
- Conduct research and market analysis to identify technologies or products that would solve an existing challenge
- Follow systematic approaches to understanding requirements coupled with product and technology evaluations. This includes identifying test cases, preparing test environments, and preparing testing programs and drivers
- Design, develop, test, and integrate new components or features
- Execute tests and integrations, document the findings, and provide recommendations to guide business and technical decisions
- Stay up to date with technology evolution in the industry and identify technologies that can help meet Swift's strategic goals
Qualifications:
Technical Skills & Core Competencies:
Required:
- Development experience in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C/C++
- Experience with at least one of the major cloud providers: AWS, Azure, GCP
- Development experience (or a keen interest in) using DLT/blockchain technologies including R3 Corda and Ethereum based networks (Corda, Hyperledger Fabric, Hyperledger Besu)
- Ability to understand complex business problems to produce high-quality technical solutions
- Diverse technical knowledge and a passion for cutting edge technologies with an ability and desire to quickly and continuously learn new concepts
Preferred:
- Interest and experience in emerging technologies such as cloud, data, machine learning, and security in the context of payments
- Experience designing and developing APIs with an understanding of network and system architecture
- Full stack development experience including databases and front-end frameworks
