The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for overseeing talent acquisition efforts for Cubic Transportation Systems India. The role involves partnering with regional leadership and being an integral part of the global Talent Acquisition team. The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner will develop and implement strategies to pipeline talent aligned to the business needs, ensuring that the organization attracts and retains top talent. This role will report directly to the Director Global Talent Acquisition, be based in Hyderabad, will operate on a hybrid schedule, requiring regular in-office presence, and some travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Recruitment Strategy
Develop and implement recruitment strategies tailored to the specific needs of the region, ensuring alignment with global talent acquisition goals.
Stakeholder Management
Partner with regional leadership and hiring managers to understand their talent needs and provide guidance on recruitment best practices.
Serve as a trusted advisor on workforce planning, recruitment strategy, and market trends.
Talent Pipelining
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings, ensuring a steady flow of talent aligned with business needs.
Full-Cycle Recruitment
Lead recruitment efforts for senior-level roles across the region, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
Support hiring for junior and technical positions as needed, adapting recruitment strategies to diverse hiring needs.
As part of the global Talent Acquisition team identify and implement process improvements to enhance the effectiveness of the talent acquisition function.
Compensation Expertise
Gain in-depth knowledge of our compensation philosophy by partnering with our compensation team to provide guidance on salary offers, job leveling, and market competitiveness.
Data Analysis and Reporting
Deliver regular (weekly/monthly) status updates, recruitment metrics, and performance insights to key stakeholders.
Utilize Excel (including pivot tables) to analyze data and provide actionable recommendations.
Agency and Vendor Management
Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Background and Experience:
Proven track-record in a regional role focused on Hyderabad with a strong preference for experience recruiting for senior engineering leaders and engineering talent.
Must have strong market knowledge and network within the engineering and technical market of Hyderabad.
Demonstrate the ability to develop and implement talent acquisition strategies aligned to business needs.
Skills and Competencies:
Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.
Effective negotiation skills.
Data driven and analytical, proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, for data analysis and reporting.
Experience using Workday as an ATS is strongly preferred.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Remain up to date on industry best practices and ensure compliance with market regulations to maintain a competitive edge and adhere to legal standards.
