Who we are looking for

The PAM for Investments development team from India islooking for a Senior Support Database Engineer. This position is to develop & maintain applications and platforms developed by the PFI team and focus on existing systems, building DataMart's, Help in performance optimization. The successful candidate will utilize the proper mix of technical experience and interpersonal abilities to work with Development, support teams and ensure the infrastructure modernization needs for the application are met. Right person for this role should have broad knowledge and understanding of emerging technologies, Database technology trends.

As Senior Database Support Specialist one will

• Analyze programming issues and come up with specific solutions to meet developer needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the department
• Be the liaison with project teams on data technologies and solutions
• Expected to learn new technologies and continue to expand expertise

• MUST have demonstrated strong application development or technical support skill sets in Oracle or Similar Database platforms.

• Knowledge of database architecture and hands on expertise PL/SQL coding with performance tuning
• Software Engineering experience, with SQL as programming languages is required.
• Should be able to write SQL queries using RDBMS Systems like Oracle.
• Having experience in support role/function.
• Experience in using API Development/Debugging Tools for troubleshooting/support.
• Strong SQL experience with ETL tools
• Experience with any source control System (Git, SVN).
• Experience in working with Azure Cloud platform

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in technology
• Minimum 3-8 years related experience in financial services technical projects, experience in data integration projects
• Knowledge of financial service industry – Data management, Investment Accounting, Performance experience preferred
• Good with technical troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Ability to write complex SQL
• Understanding data modelling ,Designing and Implementing big data analytics

Additional requirements ( Nice to have)

• Hands-on experience with Cloud-native data platforms like Snowflake is good to have
• Solid understanding of the Software as a Service (SaaS) model in the online environment
