Senior Staff Engineer, PHP Magento

REQUIREMENTS:

• Total Experience is 10+ years
• Excellent working experience in designing and development in PHP, with expertise in Magento Commerce (Enterprise version).
• Hands on experience in  B2C and B2B eCommerce application design and development using best practices and modern frameworks
• Strong understanding of Core PHP Concepts i.e. Data Modelling, Cronjobs, Rest APIs/GraphQL, Headless design, Laravel framework, MVC and OOPS concepts, Elastic Search, integrations with 3rd party systems
• Proficient in eCommerce solution architecture, including backend integrations and multi-site architecture.
• Experience with integrating 3rd party systems such as payment gateways, shipping APIs, ERP, and CRM systems.
• Proven ability to write clean, modular, and maintainable code.
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of Magento applications.
• Experience with Git version control, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Writing and reviewing great quality code
• Understanding functional requirements thoroughly and analysing the client’s needs in the context of the project
• Envisioning the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements, and being able to define technologies, patterns, and frameworks to realize it.
• Determining and implementing design methodologies and tool sets
• Enabling application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities.
• Being able to lead/support UAT and production roll outs.
• Creating, understanding, and validating WBS and estimated effort for given module/task, and being able to justify it.
• Addressing issues promptly, responding positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset of continuous improvement
• Giving constructive feedback to the team members and setting clear expectations.
• Helping the team in troubleshooting and resolving of complex bugs
• Coming up with solutions to any issue that is raised during code/design review and being able to justify the decision taken.
• Carrying out POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
